Abscond is a power thief. He gets off on stealing powers from the many regulated and illegal Altered of the world. He has no known allegiance to any one organization. He possess' the ability to steal the abilities of someone by touching them. He then can store that one ability inside of his arm for 24 hours. Four years after the Star-Pix Crisis, he went on a rampage through Cyclohoma City for 3 days before Canavin could catch him. The general population of normal humans blamed all Pixalians for the loss of their business and loved ones. Since then many of them have been sceptical of Canavin and those like him.
